Bismillah Soup is a spin-off of the classic “Stone Soup” folktale. The story follows Hasan, a young Somali boy who sets out to prepare a large feast for his mother. With limited resources but a big heart, he enlists the help of his neighbors and community at the local mosque. Through generosity, cooperation, and trust in God, the small contributions of many become a magnificent, shared meal. Bright, vivid illustrations accompany the tale, making it engaging for children.
